I love my girlfriends. We are all so crafty and original. For the holidays we all made stuff for each other. Here in Portland they have banned plastic shopping bags. I’m thrilled. I’ve used my own shopping bags for some time. I have bags from stores I frequent, bags I’ve gotten as gifts, and bags I’ve gotten as freebies from the bank. Now the girls have cute-cute bags from Gayle!
I made a repurposed, upcycled and renewed shopping bag! Take one cute-cute old sheet and cut and sew into a new life.
this was a fun day at Ikea and our bags came in handy (that’s your fair Lula on the left). And that awesome green cow is the newest member of my herd!

I hope Boulder Colorado follows Portlands good example of banning bags. You shopping sheets are awesome.
Boulder is a pretty hip town. I’m sure they’ll get it together. Until then I say you start the sheet bag trend!
Love it. Boulder is hip and we have a huge Whole Foods where they frown at you if you do not have your reusies.
I know that stink eye! Not only do you get it from the store, here you get it from the other shoppers! and my roommate is completely clueless to it. He won’t even reuse the brown bags, much less carry a reusable one!
