Two years ago if someone had asked me what home looked like, I would have a very different answer. Since I moved to Memphis, I have met some wonderful people, but it doesn’t really feel like home.
For the last year, each day has started and ended with a walk in the park with my sweet Coe. No matter how bad the day is, as soon as I step into the park, it is magically washed away. Other than the copious number of photos of cocktails I’ve taken in the past year, Shelby Farms Park is where I’ve taken most of my pictures since coming to Memphis.
I took this picture this weekend; two of my most favorite things in the world, that make me feel at home, no matter where I am.

Such a great picture of your very special girl.
I’m printing it to add it to my wall at work. This makes me smile.
Aw, I totally get what you mean. We have a dog too and she somehow is the essence of our home as our family conversations always seem to revolve around her! 🙂 Looks like a beautiful park and Coe is so cute!
Our pets are just another member of the family. It’s easy to see how our conversations revolve around them. Thanks for stopping by.
This smile… Made me smile.. 🙂
She makes me smile everyday. she walks around w her big smile all the time greeting everyone at the park like they are there just for here.
Coe is such a special girl! Her face is whiter than the last time I saw her, but the smile is always the same!
This morning we saw a woman at the park who said Coe has highlights! I told her other dogs pay good money for those highlights 😀
Such a smile!
She is a happy girl
Also a beautiful girl. 🙂
Oh thank you. Her mama is pleased to accept that compliment on her behalf
Awwww.
Coe looks so happy to be in the park!
Always! If I’d let her pitch a tent and stay she would
