STD’s (excuse me?!)

STD… Save the Date

I hate reading a blog where someone says oooh look what I did yesterday (I know I’m guilty), so as I find out about things I’d like to let you know in advance.  I’ve been to all of these events in the past and will be at again this year (except the salted caramel class- did it and it was awesome!)

So here are some STD’s to add to your calendar:

The Wedge Cheese Festival
This Saturday, Oct 8th… This event is outdoors, so dress accordingly. and bring CASH (small vendors, make it easier on everyone)
Organized by the Oregon Cheese Guild, the farmer’s market-style event will be held in front of the Green Dragon Bistro & Brewpub, located at 928 SE 9th Ave. in Southeast Portland, between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
$5 donation to enter

AFTER you load up on cheese, stop by New Deal Distillery for a mini cocktail, a tasting or just to say hello to me.  We are just 1 block south of the cheesy event.

  1. Thank you for posting these events! Since I cancelled my Oregonian subscription I don’t get a weekly listing of “things to do” in the area. I know I can access it on the Oregonlive.com website, but i forget! Will you be working a booth at the OMSI After Dark? Maybe I will see you there! – Debbie
